Veneer Lift

What is a Veneer Lift?

A Veneer Lift is an advanced cosmetic treatment designed to restore worn teeth by gently opening the bite and lengthening the front teeth. This process enhances facial balance and re-establishes a healthy bite, improving both function and appearance.Often considered an “anti-aging” solution, VeneerLift™ is completed in just a few steps, making it a simple yet powerful way to rejuvenate your smile and overall facial aesthetics.

How do I know if this is suitable for me?

At Aesthetic Dentistry, Orland Park every veneer treatment begins with a consultation. Simply email a photo of yourself to Dr. Bennett and Dr. Barrera of your full face and smile, along with a brief note about what you would like to achieve. The doctors will review your submission and create a personalized treatment plan with the next steps in your veneer journey.

What Happens After My Consultation?

If you’re happy with our recommendations and choose to move forward, we’ll schedule an appointment with Dr Bennett, or  Dr. Barrera and, we’ll either take a new set of X-rays or ask your primary dentist to send recent ones (taken within the past year).

It's essential for our doctors to examine your mouth in person and evaluate your bite. During this visit, they’ll also take detailed photographs and digital scans to gather as much information about your smile as possible.

To help us better understand your aesthetic goals, we recommend bringing three photos of smiles you admire. These visual references are a valuable part of designing your custom smile.

When will I get my mock-up?

We will notify you as soon as your mock-up or wax-up is ready, usually within two weeks. For VeneerLift™ patients, this involves an additional in-office visit. During this appointment, Dr. Bennett or Dr. Barrera will have you “try on” your new balanced bite, which you’ll wear for one to two weeks. Afterward, you’ll return to the office for any necessary bite adjustments.

After this trial period, you’ll return to our office for a third or fourth appointment. During this visit, you’ll have the opportunity to “test out” the full mock-up of your smile. This allows us to carefully evaluate every detail and discuss any desired adjustments in length, shape, or other features with our ceramist.

When wearing temporaries, it’s essential to follow all post-operative instructions carefully. Maintaining healthy gums is crucial before we can proceed with placing your permanent veneers.

Will I need anaesthetic?

For many patients, anesthesia is optional when veneers are placed without drilling. We then “try in” the final set of porcelain veneers, expertly handcrafted by our master ceramist. Once you confirm your satisfaction with the appearance, we proceed with the cementation process. The appointment concludes with a thorough polishing, bite adjustment, and a final digital scan. This scan is used to create a custom retainer or nightguard to protect your new veneers from damage.

Will I need follow-up visits?

The final appointment marks the completion of your treatment, where you will reveal your refreshed, youthful, and healthy smile. During this visit, Dr. Bennett or Dr. Barrera will provide you with a custom retainer or night-guard to protect your veneers and make any necessary adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and function.
At Aesthetic Dentistry we strongly recommend annual follow-up visits to maintain the long-term health and aesthetics of your smile. Regular care from a skilled cosmetic dentist is essential to preserving your results and supporting your oral wellness.
