Dr. Barrera is passionate about helping patients feel confident and proud of their smiles. She enjoys caring for individuals and families alike, always making her patients’ comfort and well-being her top priority.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, where she studied both art and science to develop a strong foundation in aesthetics and precision. Dr. Barrera went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010, where she was recognized with the Award for Clinical Excellence. During her training, she also took part in community outreach programs, providing dental care to those in need.

Dr. Barrera is an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside the office, she enjoys painting and drawing—creative outlets that inspire her approach to creating naturally beautiful smiles.
